If you are a former student who has not enrolled in classes in the last year, you must reapply for admission to update your contact information and program/plan code. The Admissions Department will update your records and account so you can register for classes.
Original residency determinations are made based on the students’ responses on the admission application. The Admissions Department will work with you to determine if you are eligible for resident status. More information is available on our Resident Tuition Rate webpage.
There may be different reasons for why you have not been assigned an enrollment/registration time. If you have not taken classes at Highline in over 12 months, then we will need to manually set your registration time. Please contact admissions@highline.edu to let us know if you decided to change the quarter you will be attending. We must update your record before you can register for classes. This is the same for students who want to defer their enrollment to a later quarter.

Yes, students must apply for admission at Highline to register for classes at Highline. However, you do not have to activate your ctcLink account as a “First Time User” if you have previously used your ctcLink account for another college.
