Che' Dawson
Ché Dawson began teaching in the Legal Studies Department at Highline College in the Fall of 2003. He has taught a variety of the required legal courses including Introduction to Law, Civil Procedures, Legal Research and Writing, and Ethics.
Che' began teaching courses cross listed with the Diversity and Globalism Department in the Spring of 2005. The first course he developed was Immigration Law and The Rights of Non-citizens, a subject consistent with Che's area of legal practice. Che' has developed courses in Sports Law and Constitutional Law, and teaches Criminal Law and Procedure, Criminal Justice and Juvenile Justice.
Che' came to Highline after practicing law in a variety of areas of civil law and immigration with Karr Tuttle Campbell, a downtown Seattle Law firm. Che' maintains a Senior Attorney role with Ogden Murphy Wallace.
Che' also coaches the Highline College Men's Basketball team.

Kevin Rainge
Kevin is an experienced Senior Legal Counsel with a demonstrated history of working in the IT, insurance and health care industries. He is skilled in Privacy, Artificial Intelligence, Employment Law, Legal Compliance, Contracts, Governmental Affairs, and Commercial Litigation. Kevin has over ten years experience at Highline College teaching Introduction to Law, Business, Law, Employment Law, and other legal studies courses. He holds BA in Political Science from the University of California Davis, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law.

Jenn Ritchey
I teach courses in Political Science and Global Studies. Students should stop by office
hours for more information regarding careers in international development, diplomacy,
or political science. I am also available to talk about Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, and
Study Abroad.
I have master's degrees in Political Science and Applied International Studies. I
love to spend time abroad and was a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in community health
to Swaziland (Eswatini). I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends,
and hiking in my free time as well.

Conrad Webster
Dr. Webster is a professor of Political Science at Highline College. He earned his
Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Washington and a Master of
Public Administration from Seattle University. (P
His research sits at the intersection of race, politics, and public policy, exposing
how punitive systems target Black and Brown communities and pushing for policy change
rooted in equity and justice. In 2023, he received the NAMI Bebe Moore Campbell Minority
Mental Health Award for his contributions to minority mental health awareness in Washington
State.
Dr. Webster is the author of “I Don’t Think They Like Us: School Suspensions as Anti-Black
Male Practice” (Journal of African American Males in Education) and “Black Bodies,
Dueling Pandemics, and the Hidden Rules for White Profit in the NBA” (Philosophy,
Sport, and the Pandemic, 2022). He has spoken at national conferences on race and
equity and works with school districts to reconstruct policies that better support
Black males. His teaching and scholarship share one mission: disrupting systems of
harm and expanding
