Welcome!
The Admissions department provides service and support in the following areas.
General Admissions
We manage the admissions process for all domestic applicants seeking to be matriculated students at Highline Community College. Admission is open to any individual who is at least 18 years of age. Admission is granted to those under 18 who have completed high school, whether by diploma or equivalent. Others under the age of 18 are admitted conditionally based upon their participation in one of our High School Programs. We are available to new students who are getting started at HCC: We help students to identify next steps and to connect with key resources. Get started!Residency for Tuition Purposes
Based on information applicants provide, we make determinations related to residency status. We also work with those students whose residency status has changed.Selective Admissions
Some of our programs require students to apply and to be accepted specifically into those programs. Those programs include Polysomnography, Registered Nursing, and Respiratory Care.
Student Records
We support the work of Registration & Records by collecting basic student record data for new and returning students. We update student records on an ongoing basis.
